A distinctive mosaic raised floral designed heart shaped brooch. The metal is brass. The fittings consist of a C-catch, Victorian-style hinge, and slightly projecting pin bar; these fittings date the pin as circa 1890. It is probably Italian in origin. It measures about 1" (25mm) across and ¼" (7mm) thick (without the pin). It is in excellent condition with fine workmanship, signed P.S on reverse
