A SUPERB LUXURY STERLING SILVER LADIES FOUR PIECE ENGINE TURNED, ART DECO DRESSING TABLE SET IN FITTED CASE - Made By Adie Brothers, Birmingham, England - ASSAYED BIRMINGHAM 1940

This magnificent quality four piece dressing table set comprises of a hand mirror (with bevelled edged mirror) 11" (28cm) long, a hair brush 9¾" (24.5cm) long, a cloths brush 6" (15cm) long and a silver backed faux tortoiseshell comb 6¾" (17cm) long. Both brushes have natural bristles and all pieces are hallmarked Birmingham 1940.

The set is in superb condition, the only blemishes are a few very minor dints around the edge of the mirror and the end tooth of the comb is missing (see enlarged photos below)

The original silk and velvet lined fitted case has a Chester retailers label an opening flap at the front and is also in excellent condition. The dimensions of the case are: 14" (35.5cm) wide, 7¾" (19.5cm) deep and 2½" (6.5cm) in height.
