William Wilberforce’s inscription to General Sir Peregrine Maitland signed and dated Kensington Gore 1818 on front paste down and further inscription at top of title page (can’t make it all out), no other inscriptions or markings.

Some rubbing to the edges and four corners of the boards, pages all intact and very tight with no tears, minor folds to the corners of a couple of pages and some slight foxing in places.
