This single edged knife is embellished with sheet silver overlay on engraved patterning. The ornately carved horn hilt is adorned with silver ornaments and abuts on an intensely ornate brass extension which is beautifully inlaid with silver. The two-piece teak fluted teak scabbard is partly encased in sheet silver.

The silver sheeting on both knife and scabbard has suffered some wear and loss and there is some slight rust damage to the blade as the photo's will show.

The overall length of the knife in its scabbard is 17" (43cm) and about 2.25" (5.5cm) at its widest point and the knife is 14.4" (37cm) long and about 1.5" (4cm) in width.
