The Crown Perfumery was renowned for for producing fine fragrances, which were highly sort after by the ladies of the day; it is said that one of their clients was Queen Victoria and the Crown was adopted as their trademark. 

This unusual antique green glass scent bottle with its attractive crown shaped stopper and elaborate sterling silver overlay stands about 8cm tall, 4cm in diameter (across the base) and weighs 172 grams or 6⅛ oz’s, the silver overlay weighs 14 grams or ½ troy oz.

The bottle and stopper are both in superb condition with no damage. The silver overlay is also in really excellent condition the only blemishes are an indistinct last initial of the makers name and the overlay is a touch loose.
