A lovely 19th century brass and mahogany shoulder plane, the overall length of the plane it is about 9" (23cm) long, the base is 7¾" (198mm) long) with a 1½" (39mm) cutter. The plane is in excellent condition and working order with a good very sharp blade with the shamrock mark signed HIBERNIA W. MARPLES & SONS CAST STEEL.
