Burliegh Ware was the trade name used by the Staffordshire firm of Burgess & Leigh (established 1851). Among the most collectable Burleigh Ware pieces are the novelty Art Deco relief-moulded jugs with sculptural handles in the form of animals, birds and figures. Offered for sale is a quality individually hand painted 1930's Burleigh Ware pied piper jug in really excellent condition with no chips, hairline cracks or crazing, with just the odd very minor blemish.
